چکیده

Abstract. The primary factor leading to insulin resistance (IR) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is oxidative stress. Despite its liver-protecting, enzyme-lowering, immune-regulating, antiviral effects, the impact of picroside I on stress, glucose utilization, IR has not been investigated yet. In vitro studies were conducted evaluate antioxidant properties different concentrations I. results showed that effectively suppresses α-glucosidase α-amylase with IC50 values 109.75 μg/mL 160.71 in range 50-500 μg/mL. Additionally, when IR-HepG2 cells treated 80 I, it was found have little effect cell viability, increase consumption, decrease levels free radical metabolite malonic dialdehyde, superoxide dismutase activity. These findings indicate potential regulate stress cells, potentially improving exhibiting anti-T2DM Resumen.

Effect of Linalool on the Activity of Glyoxalase-I and Diverse Glycation Products in Rats with Type 2 Diabetes

Background and purpose: Hyperglycemia contributes to type 2 diabetes and diabetes vascular complications by reduction of the activity of glyoxalase-I (GLO-I) and elevation of glycation, oxidative stress, and inflammatory markers. Linalool is reported to have beneficial effects on glucose metabolism in animal models of diabetes, so, this study aimed at investigating the effect of linalool on the...

Hepatoprotective Effects of Silymarin on Liver Injury via Irisin Upregulation and Oxidative Stress Reduction in Rats with Type 2 Diabetes

Background: Diabetes is one of the most prevalent metabolic diseases. Irisin (FNDC5 protein) is involved in the new strategy of combating type 2 diabetes. In the liver, the antidiabetic mechanism of silymarin at the molecular level is unknown. This study investigated the effects of silymarin on irisin and the related gene expression and oxidative stress status in the liver of type 2 diabetic ra...

role of vitamin d on glycemic control and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetes mellitus

background: vitamin d deficiency may play a key role in the development of impaired glucose tolerance, type 2 diabetes mellitus (t2dm), and metabolic syndrome. several studies have shown that vitamin d has an antioxidant property. we aimed to investigate 25?hydroxy vitamin d (25[oh]d) levels in patients with t2dm and in nondiabetic healthy controls and to ascertain the impact of 25(oh)d levels ...
